Biography

David Pankratz serves as the MLA for Waverley and the Special Envoy for Military Affairs, a role he approaches with dedication and a deep sense of duty. As a former firefighter/paramedic with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service, David has been on the frontline of serving and protecting his community. His experience in emergency services has imbued him with a profound appreciation for the sacrifices and contributions of those in uniform, a perspective he carries into his work with the military community.

In his capacity as Special Envoy for Military Affairs, David is committed to ensuring that Manitoba's military community is fully supported and recognized. He understands the unique challenges faced by military personnel, veterans, and their families, and he is dedicated to creating and promoting initiatives that support their well-being and integration into civilian life.
